Customer Success Analyst

Customer Success | Erie, PA | Part Time

The Customer Success Analyst (CSA) works closely with VerticalRent customers to ensure their long-term success and loyalty to using our platform. You’re responsible for building long-lasting relationships with subscription-based customers, up-selling new customers, conducting live demos, and answering questions about the platform to new and existing customers. This is a dynamic role with an hourly wage and a lucrative commission structure. In this customer-facing role, you must be comfortable working on the phone, communicating via e-mail, and eager to learn the industry’s leading rental property and tenant screening software.


  • Serve as the lead point of contact for any and all matters for end users and tenants
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including the co-founders, risk & compliance, inside sales, accounting, and product management to facilitate successful platform maintenance and growth
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relations – up-sell clients to higher subscription tiers and encourage the “private label” option for brokerage and property management firms.
  • Identify and grow opportunities by collaborating with the sales teams to ensure growth attainment
  • Certify and train as an FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act) to review the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of all criminal records returned on reports.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in customer facing role delivering client-focused solutions
  • Experience with enterprise software, SaaS and CRM tools a plus
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • BA/BS Degree preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to simplify complex requirements for customers
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline driven environment while paying strict attention to detail
  • Ability to identify business problems and propose effective solutions
  • Self-directed and resourceful; Willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic
  • Must be local to Erie, Pennsylvania with transportation to/from our downtown office at 1001 State St.
